About the Artist: Lifelong Santa Cruz resident, Edward Penniman (left) and John Bargetto (right) unveil the new Chaucer’s Mead label artwork at BARGETTO WINERY'S annual art and wine festival.
 
Ed has done graphic art work on innumerable Bargetto wine labels for nearly forty years. His work includes the present Bargetto Reserve label, Chef Luigi Vinegar label and now the Chaucer’s brand flagship label. He has completed all LA VITA art series wine labels since the inception of the program. This new Chaucer’s Mead label was unveiled December 2009.
