4 tsp. cornstarch
½ cup water
1½ cup Port Wine1cup Sugar2 Tbsp Butter2 tsp lemon juice
In a sauce pan mix water, port wine, cornstarch until smooth.
Add sugar, bring to a boil. Turn down to low heat andlet simmer until think, about 20 mins.
Turn off heat and stir in butter and lemon juice. Let cool for awhile and enjoy.
*Keeps for 2 weeks in your fridge*Makes about 2 cups of syrup.
